Jar and Hydrangea

Date: 2017

Medium Charcoal, cont., charcoal paper

Description: This depicts a small oriental bowl containing hydrangea blossoms. This floral arrangement in front of the porch, which my mother designed, evoked a sense of coziness in me. It was rendered in black and white to highlight the ceramic elements and curves of the artwork. I utilised charcoal to convey the feeling of warmth received from its texture.
