Singapore × South Korea

Photography / Photoshop / Appropriation / Collage

The current pandemic has prevented air travel and especially foreigners like me, from returning home. The embargo has unceremoniously confined me to Singapore’s shores and even within this tiny island, the intermittently enforced home-stays have left me disconnected from my family and friends. I feel stressed, homesick, and yearned for a sense of familiarity. Much of what surrounds me feels foreign and strange sometimes. In this new normalcy, I look for visual comfort as the physical permutations are far from my grasps.
